Rebecca is a Licensed Professional Counselor - Intern with a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas and a Bachelor’s Degree from Dallas Baptist University. She specializes in treating pre-teens, adolescents, and adults in the areas of emotional and sexual trauma, anxiety related disorders, and ADHD/ADD.
Rebecca uses an existential approach along with CBT techniques to work with a variety of concerns. In addition to her specialties, she has experience treating personality disorders, Bipolar Disorder, addiction, anger management, relationship violence, life transitions, grief, medical trauma, and eating disorders. Most of Rebecca’s experience has been at a residential treatment center for individuals with high levels of emotional trauma and addiction issues. She is an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and has experience working with individuals exploring gender identity.
Rebecca is open minded and offers a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for individuals to safely explore their innermost thoughts, share their experiences, and find freedom. She believes that while a diagnosis can help explain what someone is experiencing, a person should not be defined by their symptoms. Rebecca is passionate about understanding and exploring the uniqueness of each individual and tailoring treatment accordingly.
