Dr. Kendhal Hart, LPC-S, Executive Director
Kendhal is the Executive Director at Dallas Counseling and Treatment Center and is passionate about working with her clients. She is trained in EMDR which allows her to specialize in the treatment of anxiety-related disorders and complex trauma including PTSD, and Panic Disorder.
Ryan specializes in treating adults and teens struggling with anxiety, depression, attachment issues, sexual and emotional trauma, and PTSD. He also has experience working with couples utilizing The Gottman Method, an evidence based intervention. Ryan is experienced in working with the LGBTQ population including couples work.
Kristie has experience working with a variety of treatment issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, sexual abuse, cutting, life adjustment issues, gender/identity, substance abuse, relationships, family and other areas. Kristie also has a background in competitive sports and coaching, and enjoys working with athletes on issues unique to them.
Chris specializes in treating anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship issues, abuse, PTSD and has a special interest in working with the LGBTQ community. Chris has been trained in EMDR, an excellent form of treatment for anxiety related disorders, as well as the Gottman Method which he utilizes in treating couples.
Stephanie clanton, lpc-s
Stephanie specializes in treating any type of emotional or sexual trauma, anxiety-based disorders, PTSD, depression, couples, addiction, family members of addicts and alcoholics, and dissociative disorders. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is utilized to treat anxiety-based disorders.
Tara has experience and specializes in treating PTSD, victims of any sexual or emotional trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, grief and loss, OCD, and addiction. Tara is a Certified Texas Mediator in Dispute Resolution, a Registered Yoga Therapist, and she has been trained in the Gottman Method for couples counseling.
Karla enjoys working with individuals of all ages, couples and families with a variety of concerns. She specializes in treating any kind of addiction, relational and sexual issues, grief, victims of sexual and emotional abuse and anxiety-related disorders such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Danielle specializes in emotional/sexual trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, eating disorders, OCD, addiction, conflict resolution, grief and couples therapy. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which works very well to treat any anxiety-based disorder including PTSD.
Becca specializes in treating low self-esteem, negative self talk, grief and loss, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, she is experienced in treating individuals, couples and families and is skilled in working with the LGBTQ population including those struggling with gender and sexual identity.
Malton specializes in treating addiction, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma with a special interest in working with adults experiencing life transitions and young adult males as well as the LGBTQ population. He pulls from a variety of theories when working with individuals including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy and Solution-Focused.
Aubree has experience working with children as young as 3, adolescents, adults, families and couples. She is experienced in treating eating disorders, body-image issues, depression, anxiety disorders, Bipolar Disorder, personality disorders, suicidal ideation, self-harm, family issues, rape, incest and PTSD. She also has training in using Dialectic Behavior Therapy.
Dasha Semenyuk, LPC
Dasha is comfortable treating anxiety, depression and stress-related disorders including adjustment disorders for people who have recently had a major change in their lives. She also works with couples to improve communication and reduce tension. She has experience working with adults, teens and young children.
Stacey's specialties include treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, codependency, grief, low self-esteem, sexual/emotional abuse, and relationship abuse. She helps children learn to cope with divorce, life changes, parenting or relationship issues, and can address unwanted behaviors, school issues, ADHD, and impulsivity.
Madeleine specializes in treating adults and teens in the areas of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, gender identity, relationship problems, substance abuse/addiction, self-harm, anger issues, and sexual, emotional, and physical trauma. She has substantial experience treating the LGBTQ population and enjoys exploring areas of identity development with her clients.
Amy works with adolescents, adults, and couples to treat addiction, PTSD, complex sexual/emotional/physical trauma, depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, ADHD, grief, and personality disorders. Amy is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
Susan Stallworth, LPC-Intern, Under supervision of Tara Cavanaugh, LPC-S
Susan specializes in working with teens and adults with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, addiction, sexual abuse, eating disorders, codependency, and trauma. Susan is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and integrates breathing and grounding exercises into therapy.
Kathy has experience treating children, teens, and adults and specializes in sexual/emotional trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and addiction. She is also experienced in working with the LGBTQ population and utilizes CBT, often with mindfulness, to seek out the origin of negative thoughts.
