Dr. Kendhal Hart, LPC-S, Executive Director

Kendhal is the Executive Director at Dallas Counseling and Treatment Center and is passionate about working with her clients. She is trained in EMDR which allows her to specialize in the treatment of anxiety-related disorders and complex trauma including PTSD, and Panic Disorder. 


Melissa McLemore, MS, LPC-S

Melissa specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety based disorders, PTSD, sexual, emotional, and physical trauma, substance abuse, depression and obsessive thoughts. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy which is used in the treatment of complex trauma and anxiety related disorders.


Kristie Boggs, MA, LPC

Kristie has experience working with a variety of treatment issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, sexual abuse, cutting, life adjustment issues, gender/identity, substance abuse, relationships, family and other areas.  Kristie also has a background in competitive sports and coaching, and enjoys working with athletes on issues unique to them.


Tara Cavanaugh, MS, LPC-S

Tara has experience and specializes in treating PTSD, victims of any sexual or emotional trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, grief and loss, OCD, and addiction. Tara is a Certified Texas Mediator in Dispute Resolution, a Registered Yoga Therapist, and she has been trained in the Gottman Method for couples counseling.


Karla Sweet, MS, LPC, LCDC

Karla enjoys working with individuals of all ages, couples and families with a variety of concerns. She specializes in treating any kind of addiction, relational and sexual issues, grief, victims of sexual and emotional abuse and anxiety-related disorders such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.


Rebecca Simnacher, MA, LPC

Becca specializes in treating low self-esteem, negative self talk, grief and loss, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, she is experienced in treating individuals and families and is passionate about working with LGBT individuals including those struggling with gender and sexual identity.


Malton Cook, MA, LPC

Malton specializes in treating addiction, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma with a special interest in working with adults experiencing life transitions and young adult males as well as the LGBTQ population. He pulls from a variety of theories when working with individuals including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy and Solution-Focused.


Madeleine Burgess, MA, LPC

Madeleine specializes in treating adults and teens in the areas of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, gender identity, relationship problems, substance abuse/addiction, self-harm, anger issues, and sexual, emotional, and physical trauma. She has substantial experience treating the LGBTQ population and enjoys exploring areas of identity development with her clients.


Holley Craft, MMFT, LMFT

Holley is experienced in treating adults and teens with depression, anxiety, PTSD, sexual/emotional/physical trauma, eating disorders, anger management, and grief/loss. Holley is trained in EMDR which has been proven effective with trauma and works to identify and change negative beliefs one holds about themselves.


Sarah Stillwell, MS, LPC

Sarah is experienced in treating adults with depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, trauma, addiction, anger management issues, and grief. She is passionate about working with members of the LGBTQ+ community and understands their unique experiences. Sarah has worked with transgender clients seeking HRT and gender-affirming surgeries.


Jennifer Waida, MA, LPC

Jennifer works with children using therapeutic play techniques, creative expression, and art therapy. She works with couples and families going through separation, mending relationships, co-parenting, communication issues, and intimacy. She also has experience in treating anxiety, depression, life transitions, eating disorders, anger management, grief, and bipolar disorder.


Amy Gabrielski, MSW, LCSW

Amy specializes in working with individuals experiencing addiction, PTSD, complex sexual/emotional/physical trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, grief, and personality disorders. In her practice, Amy uses a person-centered approach and sets treatment goals based on the unique needs of the individual.


Susan Stallworth, MA, LPC-Intern, Under supervision of Melissa Mclemore, LPC-S

Susan specializes in working with teens and adults with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, addiction, sexual abuse, eating disorders, codependency, and trauma. Susan is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and integrates breathing and grounding exercises into therapy. 


Megan Mckinney, MA, LPC-Intern, Under Supervision of Melissa McLemore, LPC-S

Megan specializes in working with pre-teens, adolescents, adults, families, and couples in the treatment of depression, anxiety, emotional and sexual trauma, grief, and addiction. She also has experience treating teens who have witnessed domestic violence or abuse within the home.



Charlie specializes in working with individuals experiencing addiction including sex addiction, psychological, emotional, and physical trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, PTSD, grief and loss, sexual identity issues, anger management, eating disorders, and chronic pain.


Rebecca Phillips, MA, LPC-Intern, Under Supervision of Melissa McLemore, LPC-S

Rebecca uses an existential approach along with CBT techniques to work with a variety of concerns. In addition to her specialties, she has experience treating personality disorders, Bipolar Disorder, addiction, anger management, relationship violence, life transitions, grief, medical trauma, and eating disorders.
