Kendhal Herrera, LPC-S

Kendhal is the Clinical Director at Dallas Counseling and Treatment Center and is passionate about working with her clients. She is trained in EMDR which allows her to specialize in the treatment of anxiety related disorders including PTSD-Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder. 

 

Jessica Hornage, LPC

Jessica specializes in the treatment of emotional and sexual trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, anger issues, addiction, eating disorders and anxiety. She is trained in Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), a unique therapy utilized in treating personality disorders, as well as individuals who struggle with overwhelming or uncontrolled emotions.

 

Danielle Leonard, LPC

Danielle specializes in emotional/sexual trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, eating disorders, OCD, addiction, conflict resolution, grief and couples therapy. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which works very well to treat any anxiety-based disorder including PTSD. 

 

Dasha Semenyuk, LPC-Intern Under the supervision of Kendhal Herrera, LPC-S

Dasha is comfortable treating anxiety, depression and stress-related disorders including adjustment disorders for people who have recently had a major change in their lives. She also works with couples to improve communication and reduce tension. She has experience working with adults, teens and young children.

 

Hilary Butler, LPC-Intern under the supervision of tara cavanaugh, LPC-S

Hilary specializes in crisis intervention, treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, and chemical dependency. Hilary is comfortable working with children, teens, and adults, and is passionate about helping in progressing toward individualized goals.

 

Chris Draffkorn, LPC

Chris specializes in treating anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship issues, abuse, PTSD and has a special interest in working with the LGBTQ community. Chris has been trained in EMDR, an excellent form of treatment for anxiety related disorders, as well as the Gottman Method which he utilizes in treating couples. 

 

Leigh Barnett, LPC

Leigh specializes in treating adults and teens with anxiety, addiction, impulsivity, depression and relationship issues. She is trained in DBT, a type of therapy that works well in treating emotional dysregulation and Borderline Personality Disorder. She is certified in the Gottman Method utilized in treatment during couples therapy.

 

Kristie Boggs, LPC

Kristie has experience working with a variety of treatment issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, sexual abuse, cutting, life adjustment issues, gender/identity, substance abuse, relationships, family and other areas.  Kristie also has a background in competitive sports and coaching, and enjoys working with athletes on issues unique to them.

 

Tara Cavanaugh, LPC-S

Tara has experience and specializes in treating PTSD, victims of any sexual or emotional trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, grief and loss, OCD, and addiction. Tara is a Certified Texas Mediator in Dispute Resolution, a Registered Yoga Therapist, and she has been trained in the Gottman Method for couples counseling.

 

Karla Sweet, LPC, LCDC

Karla enjoys working with individuals of all ages, couples and families with a variety of concerns. She specializes in treating any kind of addiction, relational and sexual issues, grief, victims of sexual and emotional abuse and anxiety-related disorders such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

 

Laurie Todd, LPC-Intern under the supervision of kendhal herrera, lpc-S

Laurie's experience includes working with couples, individuals, families and groups focusing on marital problems, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse and trauma. She has worked with adolescents and adults with sexual trauma, substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, psychosis and Bipolar Disorder.

Cristina Ciobanu, LPC-Intern Under the Supervision of Tara Cavanaugh, LPC-S

Cristina's specializes in treating mood disorders, sexual abuse, relationships, identity related concerns, the exploration of spiritual facets, as well as multicultural concerns. Her experience also includes facilitating counseling groups focused on domestic violence, parenting, and addiction.

 

Natalie Chenault, LPC

Natalie is trained to treat adults, teens and couples. In her work with adults, she specializes in the use of CBT in the treatment of sexual/emotional trauma, eating disorders, mood disorders, grief, depression, anxiety and substance abuse. In her work with teenagers, she employs skills to help them learn how to effectively regulate and communicate emotions and thoughts.
