Courtney is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Counseling from Texas Tech University. Courtney's work experience includes providing counseling to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in non-profit organization, community college, and private practice settings. Additionally, she has experience utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis and The Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) with children on the Autism Spectrum.
Courtney's specialties include children with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), trauma-related issues, anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA issues, and family/couple communication. She has also received training in working with teens who are struggling with self esteem, cutting, depression and anxiety. Courtney is a skilled couples counselor utilizing many methods to help improve communication in relationships. She is also a trained Play Therapist who can work with children as young as 3 years old utilizing Therapeutic Play.
